Event description

We are delighted to host Prime Women Artists in our Gallery for their inaugural exhibition from the 11 – 19 November. Set up in 2023, Prime Women is a network of over 90 Cornwall-based female artists, with the aim of helping women artists connect with each other and their community.  

The exhibition in our gallery will feature work of 20 members, some of whom are exhibiting publicly for the first time, displaying a diverse mix of artists and mediums, from painting to textiles, and ceramics to printmaking. The common thread across them all is a love of Cornwall and a passion to develop and promote female art.

This is an exciting collaboration for Truro High School and Prime Women, and as part of the exhibition the artists will be welcoming our girls from all years into the gallery to see their work first-hand, giving them the opportunity to talk directly to the artists involved and get inspired!
