This week we welcomed one of the UK’s foremost philosophers to school for an inspirational conference on Critical Thinking. Dr Stephen Law is the Director of Philosophy at the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Oxford.
The topic under discussion was “How to think about weird things” with students from schools across Cornwall encouraged to develop the skills to tackle complex questions and find a way forward in the absence of an obvious solution. The school was delighted to host Dr Law as part of its Future Ready programme to ensure our students are prepared and ready to thrive, whatever the future may hold.
