Congratulations to alumna Sofia who will shortly begin studying Medicine at the University of Pavia, near Milan having qualified among the top students in Italy. Sofia left Truro High in the summer after A Levels and then faced the highly competitive Italian medical admissions process to gain her place. Out of 12,000 applicants, Sofia was ranked 359th which is testament to her hard work and perseverance. Proud mum Liesbeth thanked the school for its support saying: “She spent two unforgettable years in Truro and will surely treasure the happy memories with friends and teachers.”
