Born 27 December 1952 in Redruth, Anne, known as “Annie”, attended Truro High School where she was a notable athlete and hockey player as well as a Cornish Schools’ discus champion. Anne was a published author and wrote numerous travel guides and books. Her family describe her as “A lover of mountains. A friend to many.”
