Our Year 7 students, Elowen and Heidi, along with Year 10 Hermione, had a memorable encounter with the Prince of Wales during his most recent visit to Cornwall! As members of the Newquay Surf Life Saving Club, they had the honour of meeting Prince William, who took a moment to engage with them.
Nipper Captain, Elowen, had the wonderful opportunity to converse with the Prince, who commended her for her achievements and encouraged her to take pride in her work with the Surf Life Saving Club. Back at school, our Pre-Prep girls came together to make a card for the Princess of Wales, which Heidi, Elowen, and Hermione, successfully passed on to the Prince during their encounter. In response, he thanked the Truro High girls for their kindness and assured them he would pass the card onto Princess Kate to brighten her day. What an unforgettable experience!
