“Beyond proud and absolutely delighted for her” – that was the reaction of alumna Gill Marshall whose daughter Lucy has this week been selected as Head Girl to lead the student community for the coming year.
Gill said: “I am just so pleased for her. She has always done all she can to extol the benefits of the High School and she really deserves this. I couldn’t be happier.”
Lucy says her first challenge is to create opportunities to bring the whole student community together to build even stronger relations after the separations caused by covid. In the future she hopes to pursue a career in either politics or journalism and cites High School alumna, and BBC Deputy Political Editor, Vicki Young as one of her role models.
Lucy will be ably supported by Deputy Head Girls Arabella and Kirara-Michelle.
