“Truro High School has been unbelievably supportive in every aspect from nursery through to A Levels. She could not have done this without Truro High School and the staff and teachers have been by her side on every step of the way.”

This, just one of the many lovely comments from proud parents today at Truro High School where it’s been another phenomenal year with 90% now heading to the university of their choice this Autumn.

St Andrews, Durham, Bath, Exeter and Manchester are among the destinations for students who will read subjects ranging from Civil Engineering to Law and from Medicine to Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Today the girls were quick to praise their teachers saying they, coupled with the benefits of small class sizes and the girls only environment, had made all the difference.

Outgoing Head Girl Esme is taking her set of 4 top grades and heading to Bath to read Economics. Reflecting on her time at the school she said: “It has been an unforgettable seven years full of laughter and fun. I have so many happy memories, I have friends for life and I cannot praise the school enough for showing me all the opportunities open to me and then helping me to open the doors to them.”

Heading to Lancaster to read English Literature and History is Gwen who today said: “I have really loved every second of this school. It has meant so much to me and I will be forever grateful.”

Anisha is heading to Exeter to read Classical Studies and English. Today her proud mum said: “This school has been a family to her. It has supported her, looked after her and gone above and beyond at every step. As a parent it is so lovely to know that if your child is not with you, that they are safe and well cared for by their school family.”
