Today our school came together to celebrate St Piran’s Day in true Cornish style. It was a wonderful day of Cornish pride, bringing together students, teachers and staff in a shared love of all things Cornish.
Our Prep girls, from Early Years to Prep 6, proudly marched in the St Piran’s Day parade in Truro. With flags waving and our THS banner held high, the girls proudly represented our school. Our Prep 3 and 4 pupils also took part in the parade dance where they performed traditional Cornish dances.
Back at school, everyone enjoyed a selection of pasties for lunch, followed by scones with jam the Cornish way! The Cornish flag was proudly flying across the school as we celebrated this special day together.
