World Book Day 2026

THS came together today to celebrate World Book Day, and what a fantastic day it was! The school was full of amazing costumes, from characters in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to lots of brilliant Red Riding Hoods. It was wonderful to see so many teachers and girls getting involved, bringing their favourite stories to life and celebrating the joy of reading together.

Our Prep girls also enjoyed a special World Book Day assembly, featuring a reading from Sixth Form student Ellen, from her very own written book.

Throughout the week, our girls have taken part in workshops with a variety of authors, including Clare Helen Walsh, Justyn Edwards, and Tom Palmer. It was inspiring to see their creativity sparked and imaginations come alive!

Our Book Club also recorded their very own World Book Day podcast, full of fantastic book recommendations. CICK HERE TO LISTEN
