For one night only, our main school hall was totally transformed into the glitzy Truro High Jazz Club for a night of Gin & Jazz as we welcomed alumnae, friends and family for a fantastic evening of song.
The evening was a relaxed, informal affair, with funky swing music and bluesy tunes performed by girls from across the Senior School, singing everything from ‘Maybe this time’ from Cabaret to ‘City of Stars’ from La La Land. Elegant tapas were served with a delectable variety of gin cocktails and sparkling mocktails, and a brilliant time was had by all. Huge thanks to Garry and Rosie and the team from Tarquins for their mouthwatering gin tasting bar – always a highlight!
The soiree was a sell-out show, and was all in aid of raising money for the Truro High School Foundation – our charitable and alumnae organisation that fundraises to enable more girls to feel the benefits of a Truro High education. Huge thanks to all those who attended and helped raise around £2,000 for the charity.
If you were not able to attend, but would like to support the work of the Foundation in providing lifechanging bursaries, you can make a donation here and every penny will go towards making a real difference.
