School News |
It is with great sadness that we must share with you news of the loss of a member of the Truro High School family.
Former Head of Geography, William Farleigh Rice passed away in December 2022. As well as an ex Head of Geography at the High School, Farleigh was also author of numerous Geography textbooks, as well as School Librarian in his retirement.
He also gave his name to a Geography Prize (the Farleigh Rice Cup).
I am sure some of you will remember Farleigh and have enjoyed working with him.
Farleigh's funeral is due to take place on 6 January 2023 at 12.30 at Penmount crematorium.
Should anyone from school wish to attend they would be most welcome.
