Truro High School alumna and air cadets, Holly and Mia have been given the chance to go out to the Canadian Rockies for two weeks in order to complete a wild camping expedition. The motto of the Air Training Corps is “Venture Adventure” and one of its main aims is ‘To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship
Holly, Mia and one other cadet from Cornwall have been chosen from 40 applicants and will be joining a team made up from 19 other air cadets from all over the UK.
They can only embark upon this exciting expedition if they raise enough money to fund their trip. On the 27th of May, Holly and Mia are doing a fundraising three-legged 5km park run in Trelissick. Please support them if you can using the gofundme link below.
