“She could not have achieved what she has anywhere else” – the words this morning of a very proud mum as her daughter collected twelve Grade 9 GCSEs and one Grade 8.

Naomi is a talented musician and a superb singer who has taken full advantage of the many opportunities on offer at the school.

Opening her results, Naomi might have had trouble focusing on the long line of Grade 9s, but instead smiled: “I got a 9 in Greek! I can’t get over that! I am just so pleased and relieved. I want to say a big thank you to our tutor who was so brilliant during the exams, calming us all down each day and just being so very helpful, it really made a difference.”

And, her mother paid tribute to the school, saying: “She’s got what she deserves, I’m very proud. She could not have achieved what she has anywhere else. I just don’t think that she would have been as comfortable anywhere else to throw herself into academia and enjoy it so much.”

Naomi is now looking forward to life in Sixth Form where she will study Latin, English, Spanish and Philosophy.
