Her GCSE’s behind her, a beaming Rosie opened her results today knowing the world is now officially her oyster.
Year 11 Rosie discovered her passion for working internationally when she travelled to Cambodia last Autumn to work in Brasat Primary School. The school operates thanks to fundraising by Truro High and Rosie was so impressed by the work being carried out to keep young children in education that she has earned herself a much-coveted position with the education charity Edukid.
Her new role has already seen her spending the summer working in a school in Uganda and with today’s results behind her, a world of travel to Edukid’s projects around the globe now awaits.
